GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM

Day 1:

First Day of GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM we will cover autoCAD Map3d software.
We will start from image command and tracing
of images. After image tracing u will be introduced
with AutoCAD Online imagery. Coordinate system.
Aerial view, street view, hybrid view, in autocad
online imagery. Marking of lat and long in autocad
, how to capture data from autocad map 3d. After
tracing of images u will learn how to clean up the
maps using mapclean command, how to create
the topologies, (point, network, and polygon
topologies) using maptopocreate command and
after maptopocreate we will discuss about
network analysis and mapclpline. How to find
shortest path and best route and flood trace.

Day 2:

After creation of map in AutoCAD map 3d we will
teach how to assign data, and how to create a
table, and fields. After assigning Database to specific polygons (i.e states, cities, or country boundaries), we will teach you how to export data
in ESRI shape files. After export how to open
shape files in arcmap.

Day 3:

In depth knowledge of Google earth. Introduction
to kml, kmz, jpg files, how to extract data from
google earth in excel files. How to convert kml
file data to gpx files using gpsvisualizer

Day 4:

arcmap tools bars and other features. Layer
systems. How to use spatial reference to a file.
